The Banana Bungalow Youth Hostel has many amenities to ensure all guests enjoy their stay at the beach. One of Banana Bungalow's most widely used amenities is our enormous deck that overlooks the beach - the best place for people watching, enjoying San Diego's spectacular sunsets, checking out surf conditions, and grilling on our large BBQ grill. This is where our hostels nightly parties take place and travelers enjoy meeting each other. Every Sunday a free BBQ is offered and on Tuesdays you can enjoy our $1 cheese burgers (we offer both meat and veggie). Our hostels themed parties are always a big hit. Just as enjoyable are our relaxing evenings spent around the hostels fire pit.
